Persuasive Speech Dates

The date that you sign up is written in stone. There are no make up times unless you have a medical note for that date, and even then it needs approval.

The two dates available are:

April 9th

April 16th

Remember to bring your keywords outline and your Persuasive Lab Assignment sheet with signature from Lab Asst. verifying that you did film your speeches with your group - all due when you present.

Persuasive Speech Topic

Please select a topic about which you can persuade people to agree, so therefore it needs to be somewhat controversial. Make sure you enter it under the comment section, and pay attention to whether you are selecting a topic already chosen by another student. This is where it becomes your responsibility to make sure that you are not selecting the same topic. I can not, per the instructions in the book, allow you to present on the same topic. First come, first serve.

Clemson Speech

You will need to post your topic as soon as you can. This speech has something to do with history here at Clemson, and will be given next Thursday 1/29 in front of the class.
For example: Wendy Blanchard History of Clemson Rowing Team

The 1st person to post gets that topic. If you do not scroll and see what your classmates have chosen before you pick your topic, and select a topic that was posted before you, then there is an automatic -10 points.
